John Waggoner got his first meaningful snaps on Saturday.

The former Dowling Catholic Maroon registered his first career tackle, a sack for a seven yard loss.

After the game, Waggoner recounted his milestone while Kirk Ferentz and A.J. Epenesa gushed about the redshirt freshman’s potential with the black and gold.
