Connor O’Neal joined the Local 5 News Team as a multiskilled journalist in June of 2023.
He comes to Local 5 after being a digital content producer at KARE 11 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Connor has spent his entire life living in Minnesota, growing up north of the Twin Cities. He graduated from the University of Minnesota in May of 2023 where he obtained his bachelor’s degree in Journalism with minors in Spanish Studies and Studies in Cinema and Media Culture.
When not at work, Connor enjoys exploring state parks, watching new and old movies, collecting vinyl records and watching below-average Minnesota sports teams.
