CENTER POINT, Iowa — The Center Point-Urbana high school football coach calls his starting center an inspiration to everyone.
That's because senior James Peterson is legally blind, diagnosed with a retina disease when he was in the third grade. But Peterson doesn't let that stop him from playing the sport he loves or maintaining a perfect 4.0 GPA.
He plans to attend Iowa State University next year and major in computer engineering.
