GRINNELL- Mollie Tibbetts, a 20-year-old University of Iowa student, has been missing for two and a half weeks.
Local 5 spoke to employees at the Grinnell Regional Medical Center Day Camp, who say Mollie’s disappearance didn’t raise any alarms at first.
“It’s not uncommon if someone is sick and maybe they forgot to phone in so we weren’t too concerned that morning,” said Jarrett Rose, a worker at the camp.
Mollie is one of ten employees at the day camp. They say her infectious personality is what made everyone fall in love with her.
“She was a warm, bubbly, approachable individual that has a great manner about her and was very patient,” said Day Camp Director Chad Nath. “That’s one of the reasons why she deals with children so well."
After 20 days of Mollie being missing, her family and friends are still hoping for the best.
