Angel Reese, Shaq and more congratulate Caitlin Clark on scoring record

15,000+ erupted Thursday night at Carver-Hawkeye as Caitlin Clark broke the NCAA scoring record, and the applause was just as loud on social media.

IOWA CITY, Iowa โ€” Iowa City, Iowa, that's where Caitlin Clark made history Thursday night. 

Clark etched her name into the record books as she surpassed Kelsey Plum and became the NCAA's all-time women's basketball scoring leader. 

The West Des Moines native entered the night with 3,520 points, needing only eight points to eclipse Plum. She broke the record in the first quarter as Clark and the Hawkeyes battled Michigan at Carver-Hawkeye Arena.
