ELDORA, Iowa — The Hardin County Sheriff's Office has identified the body that was recovered following a reported drowning.
First responders initially responded to a reported drowning located near 290th Street at around 4:40 p.m. Sunday. When crews arrived, they began searching the water.
Search crews eventually located a man's body around 1:35 a.m. Monday.
The man was later identified as 66-year-old Roderick "Rod" Ryan of Eldora.
