GRIMES, Iowa — Two-and-a-half years ago, Aila Nesbitt was diagnosed with Leukemia Lymphoma. After so much pain and treatment, even having to continue into a global pandemic, Aila is now cancer-free.
Friday, Aila rang the bell at the St. Peter Lutheran Church of Grimes to symbolize her victory.
