DES MOINES, Iowa — Des Moines police are on the scene of a "reported shooting incident" Sunday night, the department said on social media.
The shooting occurred in the 500 block of Franklin Avenue. Shell casings were recovered at the scene.
Police say there are three people with reported gunshot wounds being treated at a local hospital. At this time, at least two of the victims are in "stable" condition.
Police believe there is no ongoing threat to the public.
