DES MOINES, Iowa — A fire at a commercial building on Delaware Avenue has shut down parts of the road Saturday afternoon, according to Des Moines police.
Delaware Avenue is closed between Milton Avenue and Morton Avenue due to the blaze.
Alternative routes heading north and south include E. 14th Street and I-235.
Local 5 has reached out to the Des Moines Fire Department for clarification about how the fire started and if there are any injuries.
