FORT DODGE, Iowa — Fort Dodge police arrested two men in connection to the death of a 55-year-old man on Friday.
Police say a mail carrier found the body of 55-year-old Dennis Jones of Fort Dodge in a ditch around noon on April 26. He appeared to have a gunshot wound.
The investigation determined he'd not been shot in the ditch he was found in.
Police have arrested and charged 26-year-old Alec Jones for first-degree murder. 21-year-old Nathan Jones also faces a charge of aiding and abetting murder in the first degree.
