WOODBURN, Iowa — A restaurant in Woodburn was damaged in a fire Tuesday evening, the owners confirmed with Local 5.

The Osceola Fire Department and the Woodburn Volunteer Fire Department responded to a large blaze at Bob and Sue's Woodburn Cafe Tuesday.

The restaurant, located on Vine Street, has been a staple of the community since 2000.

The owners posted Monday on Facebook they'd be out of town and closed for business until May 31.

The cafe sparked up again Wednesday morning, but was quickly put out.
