WAUKEE, Iowa — Waukee residents are ending 2023 on a high note: Chipotle Mexican Grill will open in Waukee on New Year's Eve.
The fast casual restaurant is located at 425 E. Hickman Road, right next to Culver's. The restaurant will be open every day from 10:45 a.m. to 10 p.m.
While the Waukee location is the sixth Chipotle to open in central Iowa, this particular location comes with an added perk: It will feature the Des Moines metro's first "Chipotlane", a drive-thru pickup lane allowing patrons to pick up online orders without leaving their cars.
The grand opening comes seven months after the Waukee Planning and Zoning Commission approved a site plan for the restaurant.
